Oaks Hotels & Resorts have signed on as the club's accommodation partner for this year as the Phoenix men's and women's teams look towards successful seasons in the state league.
Chief Operations Officer of Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Mr Mike Anderson, said he was delighted to announce the partnership with the Sunshine Coast Basketball Association.
“As a company that was founded and is headquartered on the Sunshine Coast, we are proud to get behind our community by supporting local businesses whenever possible," he said.
"The Sunshine Coast Basketball Association is a key sporting group in our own backyard that not only encourages locals of all ages to get active through team-based sports, but also nurtures young talent through its Sunshine Coast Phoenix representative program.
“We look forward to welcoming the club and its ambassadors, players, staff and families to our Queensland properties over the course of the season."
SCBA president Carl Wilkinson said the partnership was a huge step forward for the Phoenix.
"To form a partnership with a brand with the status of Oaks Hotels & Resorts, we are very excited," he said.
"We look forward to the mutually beneficial partnership and hope it can allow both brands to make an impact on the Sunshine Coast community."
The Phoenix are currently in pre-season training with the first game of the 2017 QBL campaign on April 29 against the USC Rip.
